Basic : Lips

Noses, you've gotten away with drawing a dumb triangle when doing anime, drop it, roll over and learn a new trick, a more realistic nose for you and your characters. Whats that smell..?

Step 1.- Simple rectangle divided above the middle, the upper rectangle you make will be for the upper lip, the lower for lower.

Step 2.- Try and get the shape of how you want your lips to look inside the rectangles..

Step 3.- Give some detail to them, part em at the middle and draw those lil depression thingies we have in the middle ya know..

Differencing..- Female lips are more defined and such so you may have a harder time with them, while male lips aren't and the bottom lip isn't usually shown and the shadow of the chin type thing is done below.

Tips

1.)Triangle, your new best friend.

2.)Keep it realistic.

3.)Draw light.

4.)Keep it clean.

5.)Follow the base skeleton.
